I am a mom of the most amazing 5 year old - Addison, and the wife of my loving and supportive husband Michael. If you've ever met me, you would quickly recognize that I am high strung, always moving, and I'm not sure what to do with myself unless I'm trying to do 10 things at one time. I started couponing when, just like most of us, the economy began to take it's toll on my family. A friend of mine had been pulling at me to give it a try and finally I said ok....to say that this has become an addiction is an understatement!
Once I taught my first class, I was hooked! I love to teach and I cannot explain the joy it brings me to hear from the people I have helped. I love receiving the emails and facebook messages about how much money they were able to save that week. It is such a blessing :)
I follow the greats, the true "coupon queens" such as Jenny from Southern Savers and Christine from Birmingham Bargain Mom, the lovely Regina of Bargain Bombshell Blog (this was the first blog I became addicted to following), are just a few of my favs. They are truly inspirational and I thank them every day for how much they have helped me change.
The mission of my blog is to focus on the "little guys". The local and private mom-and-pops out there that have so much to offer our wonderful city. I will post deals from local shops and great finds in our city. So many wonderful places to see!
